Went to see Cecilia for the first time last week; now I am autistic and can go nonverbal sometimes. I stutter or use 1-2 words, but still always answer questions. Cecilia decided that in spite of me answering her questions to ask me "Do you always talk in 1-2 words? Why are you like? Oh I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings? Sorry you felt offended, you can leave if you want." So yeah, how about you teach them how to be polite and listen when we DO talk.
My therapist and counselor repeatedly took me to restaurants for my appointments and my therapist actually made sexual advances on me. The therapists were terrible at actually listening to what I shared with them, and changed/misrepresented what I shared in their notes.
How lucky was I to find a counselor like Kristen KRAUNELIS !! I felt a strong and immediate connection with her the first time we met, which was so comforting! Kristen was so caring about my needs and made several helpful suggestions to help me through my mental heath journey. I am very grateful for all her help! Roz Lockwood
Really kicked me when I was down and made getting care extremely difficult. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Would give 0 if I could. Very uncaring staff. It's been a couple years since I left this practice and wish I had done it sooner as my mental health started to improve almost immediately under the care of another practice. Mhcgm was annoyed I needed them when I was at my lowest, but others truly wanted to help.
I don't understand why counselors don't call people if they have appointments and for some reason links don't work.... Or you try to get a hold of them two minutes past and they completely canceled you but don't say anything. Do you have appointments set but I haven't heard from your counselor in two weeks. This is the second time. We have to remember this is a job. All of this is fake and it's just a person to talk to, but nobody can fix you.
