As a licensed psychotherapist, I would NEVER recommend this place. My best friend was, ironically, on the "Hope" unit for 7 weeks during August-October 2011. He was not allowed to spend time outside, shave, or get a haircut because he was depressed and unable to achieve the right "level" to be allowed these privileges. (Wait, aren't sunshine and hygiene antidotes to depression???) He received very little therapy, and said most of the patients spent their days watching inane TV shows.
