Don't go to the Melbourne Hotel Perth for New Years Eve. Spent $186 per person per ticket. Yes we got free Moet and Chandon on arrival, yes they had a DJ. But the bar service was terrible during the 3 hours 'free drinks'. There was 0 responsible service of alcohol. The 'free' roaming canape's all night were limited to oysters and other non-vegetarian food, but nothing came to our table until I asked a waiter 3 times for some food and only one dish available for vegetarians, no options.
