Great experience! We took our 10 year old into the Urgent Care and everyone was so kind. They got him all fixed up and a prescription ordered in under an hour. It would have been much faster, but we needed to do some paperwork to switch PCPs and make a follow up appointment. I'd highly recommend when you need to get a child seen quickly.
NO ONE wants to go the doctor or urgent care on vacation. When we woke up today and I knew one of sons had strep throat. We were able to get in quickly, they had the rapid test on site and called in a prescription immediately for him.
Doctor walked in, never introduced himself, glanced at my finger, stepped backwards, & essentially told me that I wasted my time coming in. Stoic face, no smile, no bedside manner. Never even touched my hand to examine my finger up close. Seemed his mind was made up before even entering the room that he didn't need to examine my finger. They want to charge $100+ for that when they didn't even clean my wound, give me an ice pack, not even a bandaid. NOTHING. That's not care; that's exploitation.
