The Meating Place is a brand new local barbecue restaurant in Pinehurst, Texas. Although the concept is new, the flavor has been perfected over many years. At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. We match the right cut of meat with the right rub, wood, smoke, and sauce and cook to perfection in our patented 360 Smoker - that we've built ourselves.

Excellent bbq, great service. Good portions. Loved ribs the best. Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was amazing! Great decor. Easily handicap accessible for wheelchair!! We had ribs, brisket, sausage, loaded meat potato... And it was all yummy. Great sweet tea too! Clean n spacious bathroom, great atmosphere, large tv, open feel. Everything you need in a great family dining bbq place! Our new fav.

Excellent BBQ !! So glad to have a friendly and delicious local BBQ eatery!!! Pulled Pork Tacos and sliced beef sandwiches were SO good and the sauce is the BOMB!!
The sliced beef sandwich was perfection!!! Maybe next time I will save room for dessert.
