Oh.my.god. I like meat and love high quality butchers, and this place does not disappoint. Their meat quality is top notch (a little expensive for some cuts, but you can't get what they carry anywhere else nearby). Their prepared food is superb. The bahn mi is good. The fried chicken is good. The stone fruit cobbler is great. The brisket sandwich was like an out of body religious experience and I'll never be the same. Go here. Buy high quality meat to cook at home or get prepared food. Eat there or take to go.

Loved the Rueben… However, the “Denver steak” was possibly the worst ever. We were hesitant on the price, but bought it anyway, cooked rare….so tough it was almost impossible to eat. Restaurant owners for 30+ years! So disappointed

My husband loves their brisket but Saturday's order wasn't great (an understatement). We arrived near closing time but there was one whole brisket available so we got a pound and a half. Little did we know until we got home to San Jose that most of the "meat" was fat. $42.58 for just under 1/2 a pound of meat. My poor husband looked so disappointed!! I was beyond irritated when I weighed the fat and it was 15 ounces. I could understand a small portion of fat but who on earth would eat a pound of fat?? And who would sell a cu... read more
