We are very excited to become a valued member of this community. We wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves formally as The Meat King. We will like to inform the community we will now be occupying the location of what was known as Ferraro's Market and we are open for business !! We will continue to service and partner with the community to bring the quality service that you have always received for the past 60 years. We are also coming from a family owned meat business looking to expand here in New Haven, Connecticut.

Ive been buying meats from ferraro's for years and only had 1 case of a bad chop ,took it back and I received any meat of that value and since it was cheaper he gave me the difference back in cash , some would say any store would do that but he did it with a smile .
I am so disappointed that Ferraro’s has decided to do away with store inventory in the Meriden location. They only offer on-line orders for next day pickup. This was effective 7/5/2018 and I received notice by email. Why empty coolers and products from the store and be open for just pickups? Makes no sense. Store was always busy and I venture there 2-3 times weekly. I order on line and when I pick up I usually buy other products while in the store. 40 years going still love it
I am sad to hear of the change in the Meriden store. I am fourth generation shopper too. I go in at least once a week and there is always a line. Today there were 8 people in line, Tom was helping carry packages for another customer....I don’t get it. Ordering ahead doesnt always work for me.....hope they change their mind.
Love ferraros! Specials are amazing and so is their catering. Do have to watch for expiration dates on their super cheap specials, but great deals to be had if you know your prices. Great meat specials at counter and best prices on Italian sharp table cheese and soppresatta. Madison location limited selection but worth a stop if you are on the shoreline.
Bought sirloin burgers , and hard bits Of grizzle in it (stomach turning) Steaks , don’t even taste like a steak (Employees are friendly and helpful, but the quality of meats�) Never going back
