The Meadows is not bad but neither is it amazing I stayed for 6 days in February and had no hot water the whole time I was there they put a 12 year old on my unit when it was 13-17 and she was not mature enough to be in that unit especially with how she reacted. Most staff were nice especially Felicity but others were just plain rude we played games and had fun but there really was no help there I didn't even get to meet my therapist and when I was hurting myself in there they made no attempt to stop me.
Disgraceful facility. No one should take themselves here or have their family taken here. Impossible to communicate, rude staff and what seems to be a real lack of care for the patient. Avoid this place.
This place is absolutely trash, I was there for almost 3 months back in 2025 they were not helpful nor when my family called up they wouldn't answer or return there phone call that place is seriously a joke, they didn't help me for the 3 months I was there for it just made me get worse I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone, they don't care about anything and they mentally and physically drain you. Went here techs we’re great but got assaulted
the staff member Tina is a Diva and deserves a raise. The staff were usually pretty nice, the food was a hit or a miss, though I will make a complaint. I was put in a bedroom with two seventeen year olds while I was twelve years old. In the state of Pennsylvania it is a federal offense and nothing was done about it until I told a staff member about it. The charge nurse approved it knowing I was 12 and they were 17
