As a retired Social Worker from an area hospital, I had the opportunity to work often with Shannondell. They have excellent rehab dept. and residents appeared to love living here. I was also extremely fortunate enough to personally work with their Medical Director, Dr. Payce Handler as well as Dr. Kelly Cavalli. They are both excellent, knowledgeable and caring physicians. The Meadows at Shannondell is very lucky to have them as part of their team.
I left the Philadelphia area recently but spent many years providing care at area hospitals and offices. The residents at Shannondell were always happy and well taken care of. Pertinent medical history is always communicated and the staff work seamlessly with outside providers to ensure a concise and well communicated treatment plan. Additionally, Drs. Handler and Cavalli are simply fantastic! I have had the great pleasure of working with both of them. Thorough, caring, and detail oriented. Can't ask for better!
The Meadows at Shannondell offers great care for our patients but it's also a great place to work.
There have been a few times my mother has needed The Meadows at Shannondell and EVERYTIME her stays have been remarkable! She is always made to feel at home and has always received such tremendous care! I wish I could give 10 stars!
