If you have any other choice, do that! These people have the worst customer service ever. They will use every real estate trick that exists to take advantage of you! Their water pipes broke and soaked our property! They could care less! The next unit had a fire and smoke smell In all our property, they could care less! I’m mostly mad at myself as I knew they were bad and did it anyway because the location worked for me. After all the lack of customer service, their attitude is arrogant and uncaring.
The Mat West Company has been great to work with. Communication is straightforward, the property is maintained regularly, and any questions I’ve had have been answered quickly. They’re an established management company with efficient systems in place, and it shows in how smoothly things run.
I really do not refer you to rent any places from this company. After two years of paying my rent on time, I missed last month's rent and got charged twice for one missing payment! There was a $190 penalty for missing rent and a $140 paper cost for the letter they sent to inform me of the $190 penalty! This is ridiculous; we have to work hard and deal with all financial issues to find a dollar, and then this company charges you $140 for sending a notice!
Very unprofessional and greedy company to work with. Terrible property manager and you wouldn't want to deal with him at all cost. I would consider another property just to avoid interactions with him. Be warned!
I had good experience renting a warehouse in San Dimas for many years. The location was safe and well kept. The property manager was helpful and responsive, making the move-in and move-out easy. The maintenance crew was also quick to fix issues that came up. Overall, it was a pretty hassle-free experience.
