The worst supplier in canada I ordered a furnace, they quoted me for 1335 plus taxes for a furnace When i went to pick up the unit after an hr or two, they said the price is gone up to 1995 plus taxes. Eventually i picked up the unit and installed the furnace, the furnace was defective and rattling, and making extremely load noises.after few hours i managed to talk to justin, tech support. The tall guy who spoke Cantonese had a very bad attitude and looked ferocious as if others owed him something. It was really baffling. Fortunately, he was not the only one working there, otherwise no one would want to go in a second time
Been an HVAC technician for 17 years and what I’ve noticed about masters is they’ve gone downhill rapidly especially after Covid now they’re asking for your gas license to buy a fan motor for York rooftop unit, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with gas and unfortunately, due to the postal strike, I still have not received my wallet certificate to show them it’s note worthy that I’ve been dealing with these gentlemen my entire life when it comes to trade and HVAC work but even speaking to them apparently I need to ... read more
This is no reflection on the service reps on the front desk rather a review of Master Group warranty and credit desk. Good luck ever getting your warranty money back from legit parts claims. Hassle after hassle. Warranty claim didn’t go through? They won’t tell you and your account will be frozen because warranty and credit don’t talk to each other. This used to be my go-to York etc supplier but I’ll look for any alternative now.
