Great food, wonderful staff. Had a new waitress there who was awesome. Close to 59 at Livingston.
Their shoestring onion rings that come on the $25 platter is now less onions enough for 1 person. And management will not let you order a side of them. Never have I ever been to a restaurant that you can't order a side of any cooked "ingredient". Also wouldn't let my husband order a beer because it's 9 pm on a SATURDAY
I would rate the food "average." We had the smothered steak and the blackened catfish, each with sides.
Ive came here with my family I think 2 or 3 times now and am definitely going to go again today. This place has got to be my new favorite restaurant in livingston! My family and I love all the food that we've tried! We love how they cut the mushrooms smaller before frying them. We love their mushroom swiss burgers! Their broccoli and cheese soup and salad were great! We just love it all! It is a little pricey but totally worth it!
The Patty Melt that I ordered was sufficiently cooked but it had some sort of dressing that put me in mind of Coleslaw.. unexpected and its addition made a mediocre patty melt unpalatable. I ate 1/4 and left the rest. Fries were what where expected. The Bloody Mary that I ordered upon being seated had still NOT hit the table after 20 minutes, I inquired of our server if it had been started and her response was, they have to cook the shrimp first..........
