Great options and love overlooking Tamales Bay. I always make the trip when I'm in San Fran for business.
Excellent waterfront oyster shack. Oysters are fresh from the bay every day (raw and Rockefeller were both excellent), and the Dungeness Crab Sandwich, Veggie Sandwich, Baked Bried, and Shrimp Cocktail were all devoured with smiles. Just be aware that alcohol is only allowed on the outside tables along the roadside, so get there early (but don't be intimidated by a full parking lot, we waited for a space and were only in line for about 10 minutes).
Great place and food but 'has' gotten pricy over the last couple years. $3/oyster (respectively) Ouch :/

I have to stop and have oysters every time I pass by on my travels. My first time was on a road trip with my daughter down hwy 1. Many years ago. We had a order of oysters and ate them in back on the deck. It is a time in my life I'll never forget.
