If anyone’s looking for studenthousing in the Waterloo region, I would advise you to steer away from the MARQ as a management. Not only do they not take concerns seriously, their management is inconsistent, unreliable, and disorganized. My living conditions were horrible and I reached out to them with my concerns, for MONTHS with no help at all. Honestly worst place ive ever stayed in Waterloo. Ceiling leaks, no one wants to fix it. Expensive laundry. Rent is getting pretty expensive for the quality of this place. Because of all the leaks (i was away for 3 weeks for xmas break) my shower is now moldy and bathroom flooded. So gross.
