The property was a true Gem! They accept doggies, they have very clean/modern rooms, exceptional bedding including the pillows. The Marmalade owners are fantastic and were very accommodating, further enriching our experience. Food provided for 'add on' breakfast was great and the views of the ocean and sunsets are amazing, from each of the back decks. Thank you Neil! We will be back.❤️
Positives - Esthetically, the room was clean and pretty. The view was also wonderful. They left a delicious treat for us and chocolates on the pillow; which was a nice touch. Negatives - I called to book but it went to voicemail, so due to time constraints I had to book online and pay the marketing levy. There was no office to stop by to pay for my room; so unfortunately, the owner woke us up by repeatedly knocking on my door at 8:30 am for payment - even though I could have paid the night before. My company was contracted to complete some work in the area, and we were thrilled to find such a great establishment close-by. The entire booking process was seamless (a bit of a pun from a gutter company owner, haha)! I was in contact with Cheryl and Neil, both of whom were extremely kind, were accommodating of our up in the air schedule, and were exceptionally helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at The Marmalade Motel in Sheet Harbour! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome and truly cared for. You can tell how much heart and pride they put into every detail. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a private balcony with the most peaceful ocean view.
