Just when I thought I paid all the final charges, they give me another ridiculous charge a week after. $310/each roommate for couch replacement is crazy when the image they give for damage proof looks exactly how it did when i first move in. If you're going to charge me for that, you need to actually give me a description of what the damages are if it is not visible in the photo. Utility charges somehow kept going up after 2/3rd of the residents had moved out in our apartment. The elevators broke constantly, and the fire alarms went off unprompted even without a fire. I lost my key fob and trying to get a replacement took forever. I had to go down repeatedly for a week before they finally dealt with it. After I got it, me and my roommate's key fob consistently had issues till we both went in person.
I followed all move-out procedures and returned both my apartment and mail keys, however The Mark still wrongfully charged me $150 for “unreturned keys.” I disputed the charge, but management refused to remove it and claimed they had no record (i.e. they are basically blaming me for their own staff’s mistake). It is an alright place to live. It gives you basic necessities. Pool and gym are nice. Other than that the rooms are ok. I came into a pretty messy room and they didn’t clean it for me. Can be very noisy and annoying at times.
