They charged me 150 dollars for a so called "deep cleaning fee" . There was a cat in the room for a few hours and left no smell or dirt. They told me some people are allergic to cats. That's the daytime manager who's been there for 50 years living in a 5x10 office. I said about all the dogs staying there and he said they were service animals. Which is a lie. I was charged 150 dollars extra for deep cleaning because I let a cat in for a couple hours. The manager, whose name escapes me, is a guy I remember from the pandemic era. One employee quit because this guy is so miserable to be around they couldn't handle it. Misery loves company. He told me that some people are allergic to cats yet they routinely allow dogs in and any doctor will tell you if you are allergic to cats you are allergic to dogs. Last summer I visited the Bay Area for a weekend to see the Oakland A's and decided to stay here because of some of the things they offered. I am glad I did. Some things to mention: -About 5 minutes from the airport. They offer free shuttle service to and from Oakland Airport from 6am-9pm. -Parking is $18 per day. If you choose not to rent a car, they also offer shuttle service to the San Leandro BART as well as other nearby businesses. Check with them to confirm times.
