I have stayed here several times, with a 50’ Hatteras. The best customer service, Lauren is amazing - wish every dock master was this great. We tuck into the slip and it’s very protected, outside of the craziness of downtown but still easy walk. No need to look anywhere else.
Brown and Howard Marine is the nicest, most modern marina in Newport, with the best Dockmaster. Being located directly across from the harbor entrance and centrally located on Thames street, there is no better place to be.
Hands down, Brown and Howard Marina is the most sterile marina in Newport. It lacks a New England personality like the owner who is rude and arrogant, who thinks his little blonde dockmaster without brains---she allows meat boxes to sit in the office until frozen duck swims in blood---then when I asked her whose boxes are these? She emphatically responded, "I don't care ! They're not mine!"
