The best people on earth
The Marietta House Assisted Living has to be one of the best in Anchorage!! The Lommel family and their staff take great care insuring that each resident is treated like family. They spend the time getting to know them and cater to each of their needs without hesitation. My mother-in-law spent a few months recovering from several stints in the hospital. Alex and Bonnie were a Godsend to our family. The cared for my Mother as there own. They were in contact with us all the time and allowed us to visit anytime of day or night. Caring family atmosphere and very professional . My mother stayed till her end of life and Bonnie and Alex were very respectful of our beliefs and Mom was never alone. They are a wonderful couple and beautiful family. Thank you for all that you did for Mom and our family. Blessings to you.
The facility is beautiful and the staff are caring. However, the family encourages the family advocate to work with established providers that they are familiar with and then kept telling me ‘to trust them, not worry - just enjoy your Mom- denying me the right to access of information. I challenged the providers about this behavior and Bonnie refused from that point on to talk with me and avoided me. Alex & Bonnie of The Marietta House have been wonderful to work with, and extremely helpful in navigating the process of finding an Assisted Living Facility that fits all of my Grandfather's needs. They are more than happy to give advice & recommendations even if their facility is not the perfect fit for your Loved One. The Marietta House truly has a family home feeling, and it always smells like delicious home cooked meals. I would absolutely recommend The Marietta House to those in need of their services.
