We made reservations for tea at the mansion, a couple of months ago. Seating is limited as is the schedule for tea. The tea service is very traditional and while every service has a different theme, you’re still getting a proper service in the afternoon. If you live in the DMV, this is something I recommend you try at least once. The mansion and the garden are both beautiful and interesting to wander through so try and schedule extra time for that. Beautiful
If you're into the arts, check out the workshops and art gallery inside the Mansion at Strathmore. There's a parking lot near a garden full of sculptures and chairs to enjoy the view. Walk inside to the mansion to find an art gallery throughout. Here, they host afternoon tea, crafts, story time, and more. My nine-year-old daughter loves their gift shop!
Gorgeous wedding venue, I wish we’d had more time for photos because there are so many beautiful spots like the library, grounds, gazebo, sun room, music room, and more. Thea and Patricia were wonderful to work with. We look forward to visiting Strathmore again soon.
