An absolute gem in San Pedro. An elegant room, impressive service and food that is incredible.
The smash burger was soooo good! Fries also good The Pizza was also good with quality ingredients. Many others were ordering the coffee cake . Cool 100 year old building. I enjoyed it, will be back.
Ordered the pesto bucatini. It barely tasted like pesto. Pasta was not al dente, but acceptable. As I was alone, I sat at the bar, which was empty. But they did not give me a moment to enjoy the rest of my wine. They cleared the salt & pepper immediately before clearing my plate. The bar was completely empty but felt pressured to give them my bar stool back. Not enjoyable culinary experience and subpar food.
The food was good. Scallops and focaccia alone were outstanding. The service very good but the atmosphere was that of a train station albeit a beautifully restored one. Just kinda cold. And I was surprised they don't serve hard liquor. Oh, and the surprise magic act was weird but certainly makes the night more memorable.
I love the food and service, and a big fan of their other restaurants but I am giving them a 2star because last time I was there I was the last to leave and the valet had brought my car before me asking. It was already parked, when I took off I heard a scratch and realized they had parked the car too close to the curb and my passenger rear rim got scratched.
