As first time homebuyers, my fiancé and felt that Jody did a great job keeping us informed and answering any questions we had about the home buying process. He was very flexible in working around our tight work schedules and was always available to answer questions. He was a huge help in making our home buying experience run smoothly!
If you are a buyer, Jody will ask you to pay an additional 1% commission in addition to what the seller is paying him. That's not a bad option if you get great service. What we got from Jody was the opposite of that. It's been our experience, that he doesn't listen to concerns, attempted to gloss over issues in the inspection, pushes back if you ask him to contact the listing agent about real issues like electrical or water intrusion. Terrible real estate agent. Represented both me and the seller, BAD IDEA. He was on vacation more often than not, and when he wasn't, he was just pressuring contract signage. Never communicated anything to the seller, never listened, and pleaded ignorance. Had to contact seller to get anything done. He just basically took our money, and we got nothing for it, except lies for a quick sale.
