I look for any reason and/or event to stay at or dine here. We've stayed there twice for our anniversary and new year's and have dined many times. Sometimes I'll just drive all the way from Monterey because I'm craving pink champagne cake.
Wonderful time with family, great service as usual. Family tradition of many Anniversaries and � birthdays over the last half century. Thank you Madonna Inn
Love this place. Ambiance, unique decorating, beautiful gardens, great pool and hot tub area. Live music and dancing in the dining room/bar. Several dining options. Very relaxing, great place for a weekend getaway or writing retreat.

Loved the room and restaurants. The room was stuffy, so we tried to turn on the a.c. and there was no remote--no way to manually turn it on either. Called the desk 3x and finally after 2 hrs. a young man came who could not fix it or find an additional remote. he promised to return but he never did. He was very concerned with getting to his dinner break. Mgmt. seemed uninterested. Will we return at that price? ($350) probably not.
Extremely happy with our experience last night. The food was amazing, the service was great. Loved how everything was decorated inside the restaurant!

A tourist trap. Tasteless food. Overpriced. Not worth the stop.
This place is a gem. There's a real spirit of hospitality and giving a guest more bang for their buck. The pool is perfect for young swimmers and the whole place has the feel of a resort from simpler times. My 6yo made the observation that, "Everyone here is so nice." And it's genuinely true. I hope they can keep it so well run for the next generation.
