RecommendedOnly reccomend because the food was delicious and the cooks were friendly and helpful. The waitresses put our order in late and the cook noticed and ask what we ordered before the ticket was put in. Neither waitress checked on us for coffee refills. They were super friendly with the regulars they knew by name. We left a 25% tip only because the cooks were awesome and the food was delicious. So hopefully tips are shared with the cooks.

Also, we do a "tip pool," so even the dishwashers get some $$.
I’ve had a few roast beefs at plenty of other places, but this particular restaurant has made perhaps one of my favorite roast beefs I’ve ever had! The meat was great and the peppers, some red pepper, is what really sealed the deal! If you love roast beefs I suggest you try this place!

This diner went out of their way to make my 87-year-old father’s birthday breakfast spectacular. Balloons and more Thank you so much guys they even stayed open late because the ferry was late . way to rock it guys😊💥💥💥💥💥💥👨🍳
The food is great. And the staff is the BEST. We love The Madison Diner.
Best Tuna Melt this side of Brooklyn. And the staff is super nice. My only complaint is they close at 3. But that’s Bainbridge for you.

The coffee cream offered in tiny amounts in non compostable disposable containers. when asked for real cream I was told to go somewhere else. I became very upset flipedoff the server and bus person who told me to go somewhere else. I left. Should I expect that treatment on the island off the waterfront. Purple will not be visiting this restaurant again.
