We had a wonderful time at The Madison for two birthday celebrations (85th and 95th). It is a great place for a "special occasion". All of our dinners were exceptional. The service was leisurely and impeccable, we all enjoyed our time there.
The decor was fabulous. You are sitting in a former bank. The scenery is unbelievable. The food was excellent. My meal was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was attentive to my needs. The wine list had much to offer in a glass and in bottles. This restaurant is not to be missed when staying in Long Beach.
My sweetie and I went for dinner before a concert last Saturday. The restaurant is stunning and there's lots to see given that it's a refurbished bank and is a California state landmark. The place is in pristine condition. Our waiter was fabulous and very attentive. For example, when we asked if there were blue cheese stuffed olives for our martinis- he said no, but that he would stuff them personally. Voila! Great Dinner – The best rib eye and Potatoes Au Gratin in town, excellent service. The building is a historical landmark in downtown Long Beach, beautiful.

Thank You ! – The Service and food was great. The food was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. This is a great romantic place. Definitely a place I would go back to.

Thank You All – You cannot find or create a better old time atmosphere than this converted bank lobby. It is a grand stage and worth the visit. Only wish that they were pickier with their cuts, grade or purveyor of meats. This has all the ingredients of greatness.
Great Food, Excellent Service – Traditional steakhouse with some more interesting menu items. Building provides a unique atmosphere.
