There's so many great things I can say about these apartments and the property management. In my opinion, this is one of the best apartment options in NW Portland. They are located on 29th ave which is close enough to town to walk to restaurants, bars, work, etc. But it is also far enough away to where you feel like you still have privacy in a cozy location. Amazingly cozy and quiet apartments nestled right across the street from Forest Park and just a 5-10 minute walk over to 23rd Ave's amazing restaurants and shops. Can't say enough good things about the location! The building is well run by the amazing, Willow Finney, who has been hands down the best property manager that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I have lived at The Macleay for over a year. I Moved here from a quiet neighborhood in Beaverton, so you can imagine what I could have thought about a place this close to the city. It's perfect folks. Quiet and calm living peacefully in the apartments by the woods and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
Loved living at Macleay! The apartments are well-kept, have beautiful balconies surrounded by green, and are steps away from a forest park entrance. The area is nice & quiet, away from the craziness of 23rd but still within close walking distance. Management is only a text or email away and responds quickly. Rental applications, lease information and payments are also all online (if you wish) which I find extremely convenient.
