The only reason I don't give this Resort a 5 star rating is because it is not very "kid" friendly. Tried to get a hamburger at one of the burger restaurants, but adults only - because they serve alcohol....don't most restaurants serve alcohol? When my family came to visit with grandsons, the only place we could go for a meal was a walk-up window. Great resort, love the pool and outside bar. The odds on the video poker machines are much better than the strip properties! Best sports bar in Vegas!
Place is nice clean, new design, my wife like the place and me too. We ate @ the shash house - breakfast was good the potatoes delicious, coffee you can taste. Service was good and atmosphere nice, over looking pool and out side patio. the wall flowers are nice too, lobby areas, I like to see more of the place and I would recommend others and return myself.
This is one of my favorite place to go !!!!! The food at the buffet is excellent and their staff are very friendly !!!!!! I LOVE THE M CASINO !!!!!
Staff is excellent. Bring your ear plugs to the pool. Music is way too loud and is geared to the 18 to 25 year olds. If you want to be off the strip, this is it. $35 to $40 for a cab to the strip.
Even though it's a bubble all to itself south of the airport, the M was a pleasant surprise. The suites are fabulous, very modern and spacious with lots of light. We loved the pool deck, which was wide open with no towering, neighboring casinos to block the sunshine.
As for our friends' anniversary, we went to sunday seafood buffet. It was a great disappointment. $33.. pricey and food was awful. Salmon were way over cooked (hard and dried) and they were still serving them. Repeating of clams and mussels, just different sauces. Oysters were awful, no meat. Wonder why they charges so much for the cheap quality food. One of those regular buffet place would be much better quality food and better price. Oh, dinner was served with screwed top warm wine and paps beer.
Stayed at the M over the Fourth of July weekend and was thoroughly impressed. I don't think the secret's gotten out yet. Although the resort is literally just off the 15, it's an oasis free from the hectic craziness of The Strip. The M opened in March, so it's fresh and better designed than nearly all the casinos in Vegas. The basic rooms have a posh, modern boutique feel with bathrooms you'd only get in spa rooms at the other casinos. Designwise, the resort vaguely reminds me of the Borgata in Atlantic City.
