We drove from Cape May NJ into Ambler on our way back home to DC and what a fun stop. The vibe was so cool and the staff and patrons were so friendly. The live Blues band was amazing and EVERYTHING we tried on the menu was EXCELLENT! The Belly and Shrimp, the Steak Sandwich and the Pork Ribs were amazing! My husband’s eyes rolled into the back of his head with that first bite of ribs...we will be back!
I was a bit disappointed after all the hype. I was looking forward to pulled pork but it was chunks of meat and fat- lots of fat- more than was acceptable. I found a whole slice of fat in my sandwich! Cole slaw was good but I’ve had better. Did not expect maple syrup on the onion rings, which otherwise were delicious. I doubt I will return- so sorry!!!
The food was delicious and it had a cool vibe.
Live music, good drinks, & fairly decent bbq. You can make reservations which is always a plus!
