Bought my 99 Honda Civic in with a water leak. Diagnosed with bad water pump - estimate $752. ( found out later - over priced!) After replacing pump they discovered a bad "Head gasket" estimate $1500. Told that " no mechanic could have diagnosed the head gasket without first replacing leaking water pump."
