I am a 'new' patient to the surgery and having nothing but praise for the courtesy, pleasantness and professionalism of the team at the Lorn Surgery.
Been going to The Lorn Surgery for years, only complaint is that there’s very little reception inside the building. Receptionists are always lovely, and the new building is great with a Pathology clinic attached which is very convenient. Dr Natasha Chapman is always very helpful and lovely to talk to, all the nurses I’ve seen have also been great! Highly recommended going here.
The Lorn Surgery came recommended from a friend after we moved to the area, and looking at the rating on Google I wasn’t sure. But we’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the doctors and staff here. I have two young children, as well as a complex medical history and they have been absolutely fantastic. With our children they needed a blood test and the doctor attending us recommended clinics that specialised in drawing blood from children, as well as prescribing some numbing cream for them. Only gets 1 star because the receptionists are lovely- wish I could give it 0 stars. Went in to see Dr Juliet about a simple pathology request and left with her telling me why I need an IUD- despite me saying I didn’t want any birth control and previously declined the IUD. She was very nice about it as she believed I wasn’t properly educated on it, but didn’t get all my needed tests on the pathology form. I called to make a reservation for my baby’s 6-week check-up, and I had already paid an AUD 85 deposit. A week later, I called again to confirm the appointment, and to my surprise, I was told that there was no reservation under my name. I explained that I had already paid the deposit, and after checking, they confirmed that the payment was received, but no booking had been made. So I made a new reservation.
