Reply to Owner April 2024, original at bottom: The only point of the post: I would still avoid 507. Maybe the problem is solved(you won't know until the temps drop again and an ice storm will make it much worse), but the building has around 40 other apartments, why take a chance? Typical rental company, nothing special. Rent from these people and you will be fine if nothing goes wrong. If not, expect it to be a pain. So the usual renting experience.... Do not rent unit 507. You've been warned. There is a large HVAC unit on top of the apartment, it runs all the time(except when it is 70 degrees) to heat and cool the atrium on the front of the building. When the AC is running, there is an audible hum(45-50dB). When the heat is on, it is a low frequency(55-62dB) depending on how hard it is running, think subwoofer but there is some vibration too. Why are you guys kicking a fantastic local business off the sidewalk in front of your building? If you told me I could walk out of my apartment and get a glizzy I would move in tomorrow. Now I will tell everyone I know to avoid you at all cost.
