I lived here for 2 1/2 years. It was a great place! My apartment was wonderful. The management was fantastic. They provided preventative maintenance and updated appliances regularly. The common areas were beautiful. Best apartment I've lived in.
I spent a year and a half living at 202 W Hill St and was extremely happy with the premises, location, and most importantly the prompt and friendly landlord, Seth. After only living there here for 2 months, most of the appliances were changed out for newer models (stove, fridge, washer/dryer). I feel incredibly lucky to have stayed here for my first apartment in Champaign. You also can’t get a much closer location to downtown without the extra noise that comes from Neil St!
I lived here for 2 years and it was the best renting experience I've ever had. Seth takes care of the property and all of his tenants very well. The units are beautiful and extremely well kept not to mention walking distance to all restaurants and shops downtown. Anyone looking to rent in Champaign should consider this building. Would live here again in a heartbeat.
Was lucky to live at the lodge for 3 years- Wish I could take this apartment with me everywhere! The building itself is a beautiful, cozy and well built brick unit located downtown within a short walking distance to all the best nightlife and restaurants Champaign has to offer. Landlords respond quickly and have sense of urgency for all needs. Neighbors and fellow tenants are friendly and respecting quiet hours.
I lived in The Lodge on Hill for 9 years and wouldn’t have lived anywhere else in Champaign. The Lodge management pays attention to detail and cares about the big and small things. Its historical character is beautiful. The unique apartments are up-to-date with a cozy and high-end feel. Nothing compares to the community built within the building. I lived alone for the last 5 years and felt safe and secure. I was very sad to leave the home I created and the community built at The Lodge on Hill.
