I have nothing but the highest praise for this beautiful accommodation which was provided for me. My husband required emergency transport and care here and being grey nomads and a long way from home it made things less stressful in regards to accommodation. The location to the hospital was walking distance which made it so much easier for me and meant I was available quickly if needed. Much praise goes to the staff and volunteers who were amazing to me. We were made welcome. The accommodation was marvellous. The ability to contact someone after hours was a great idea, considering that I had to use it. The other people staying were wonderful. This facility is a credit to everyone involved from surrounding towns in making this happen. I would seriously recommend this facility to anyone needing accommodation and easy access to the hospital.
Western care lodge have been amazing. The staff are always friendly & willing to help in every way possible. The rooms are cleaned regularly to a high standard . They have been a god send for us over the last 9 years of treatment & visits to doctors, can’t recommend them highly enough
Our stay at Western Care Lodge was lovely. The staff and very helpful and welcoming. It was great being so close to the hospital for treatment. We enjoyed walking around the grounds each day. The only improvement would be a sofa in the rooms instead of the single chairs as they aren't very comfortable when you don't feel like being in the common room during the day. Otherwise everything was great. We are so appreciative that Western Care Lodge is available.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and very quiet and the kitchen area is huge. So grateful to be able to stay here for medical reasons. We also had a beautiful view from our room.
