I have nothing but the highest praise for this beautiful accommodation which was provided for me. My husband required emergency transport and care here and being grey nomads and a long way from home it made things less stressful in regards to accommodation. The location to the hospital was walking distance which made it so much easier for me and meant I was available quickly if needed. Much praise goes to the staff and volunteers who were amazing to me. The Lodge is an amazing place for patients and their familes. It is set up with 22 rooms abig dining and kitchen area and laundry facillites Its set in the beautiful grounds of ORANGE HOSTPITAL. The wild life is plenty full with mobs of Kangaroos and bird life. Staff are amazing very friendly and willing to help in any situation. We are staying fir 6 weeks during our daughters Hostpital stay. Weve travelled from Coffsharbour through a very stressful time and The Lodge has made our stay here just that little bit easier.
An amazing facility which was very supportive to the members of my family during such a difficult time. The rooms were well fitted out with warm heaters and comfortable beds. The shared kitchen was a great gathering place for our family to come together.
The staff went above & beyond with their help & the room was excellent being so tidy, comfortable & spacious with the grounds well-kept & kangaroos to greet us. We only had 1 night there, staying after a procedure at Orange hospital but would absolutely recommend it 👌
Our stay at Western Care Lodge was lovely. The staff and very helpful and welcoming. It was great being so close to the hospital for treatment. We enjoyed walking around the grounds each day. The only improvement would be a sofa in the rooms instead of the single chairs as they aren't very comfortable when you don't feel like being in the common room during the day. Otherwise everything was great. We are so appreciative that Western Care Lodge is available.
