Very comfortable. Old school inn. Love the proximity to stores and restaurants.
We love coming here, and this is our 4th or 5th time in two years. We did get a room with a balcony, but with a roof and a fence for a view. This morning I went to the lobby to get coffee at around 9:00; the container was empty so I went to ask the person at the desk if more were available, and he was sound asleep. Not wanting to disturb him, I walked down the street and paid $7 for two coffees. Could I please get a refund of these $7?
We had our reservation booked and confirmed for August for 6 months. We made plans with other families to stay at the same hotel and with others to meet us for a trip to angel island during our stay. The day of check in all of us who were booked at the hotel were called and notified our reservations had been cancelled due to a "group that is higher priority". We were already in the area with little kids... left with no where to stay. They offered us a room 15 min away which defeated the purpose of staying close to downtown. ... read more
Really enjoyed staying on the ground floor with a patio. Service was excellent, location is perfect, and free parking is a huge plus. Room was clean and comfortable, but there were a few things slightly worn out. Overall, it was really great experience!
