We stayed here on August 27 & 28. We booked this online because the rate was almost $100 a night higher calling the hotel. Our first night was miserable as they were installing tile on the patio(our room was right above the patio). They only stopped at 11pm when we called the front desk to complain about the noise. This is a place near a golf course with lots of handicapped parking. Seems like a lot of people with golf and other handicaps visit because we could not find a blue spot for us. We were greeted well but a little out of breath by the time we got to our assigned room. We followed the curve of the building and were above the outside patio in 305. First, the good- Amazing personnel, especially Dennis. He makes a mean omelette and the breakfast buffet is delicious! The resort has a family and cozy environment. We would definitely return when in Ruidoso. Ok, for the not so good- the rooms, at least the one we stayed in, needed cleaning. It was dirty with cobwebs on the window sill. The outside balcony smelled bad and could have used a sweep. We had it in mind we were not going to return, but the personnel made a big difference.
