We stayed in room 6 last Saturday night and absolutely loved the property. Although the weather forecast read 102F heat index, we were cool and comfortable paddle boarding around the gorgeous swimming hole. We loved being able to order from the restaurant and have them deliver a delicious lunch to us by the water - the chicken sandwich was superb! Bartender was friendly and funny and efficient. We stayed for two nights last week and had a wonderful time! Everything you need is right there. They have a tavern, a pizza place, a very nice and clean pool and walking distance to the swimming hole was a blast and beautiful. Downtown is just minutes away, go for more resturants, bars and boutiques. The building is much older, but very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent value for what they offer! We will def return one day.
The room felt like home, the bed was arguably more comfortable than mine at home, the front desk was very helpful, food at their tavern was top notch, convenient location and the swimming hole within walking distance makes this a fantastic place to stay.
I had my birthday here and can’t wait to come back! This place is really a hidden gem and the staff are amazing. Special shoutout to Sherry who answered all my questions and helped coordinate everything. She accommodated what turned into a very large group for lunch. Everyone from the reception desk to the bartender to the chef were all just cool genuine people. An old building but had really great front desk staff.. They gave great recommendations for food and coffee shops. Wish they had refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms, but they will let you bring a cooler to your room and give you plenty of ice.
