Wonderful experience with classy staff .
Huge rooms. We even have a fireplace in our room, huge fireplace. Pondarosa pine paneling ceiling and walls. Can definitely tail this place has many stories to tell. Clark Gable and Judy Garland stayed here sand the wall in the tower at the lodge. Conrad Hilton managed this hotel for appeared of time before starting his own empire. I could go on anon but if you’re ever in the area I recommend the lodge at Cloudcroft.
Golf course was stunning
We booked a double room in June 2018, and the historical hotel is comfy with lots of antiques and history. Amazing views from the outside areas. Very quiet, and hotel bar closes at 9, restaurant at 830. The restaurant has an amazing menu, but pricey options only. Alot of quaint shops and bobbles to entertain shoppers. The pool and hot tub were still under construction. No paranormal experiences unfortunately, but still enjoyed Rebecca's story and got to see Rm 101 which is the Governors suite which is where she likes to hang... read more
The room had a view of an alley with a rusty staircase. I was told this was the only two bed room they had. Worst room ever! Nothing like the grand old hotel I knew 20 years ago! Don’t pay the huge price they ask for this tragic old hotel!
Such a cute place to stay! The Spa was phenomenal, and the room we stayed in was also so cute!
Loved it. Quaint and elegant. Victorian feel to the rooms. The breakfast was worth the wait. We had a group of 17 and they had others in the restaurant too. Thought they did well considering a small village. The story of the place and the myth of Rebecca begs for more. Next time I’ll have to try the spa.
