Walked in hoping I could sit for a while and relax, get some coffee, but the music was blasting so loud instantly got a headache. This was on a nice Sunday afternoon and the loudspeakers were on volume 1 million like it was a dance club. My skull was throbbing. Most annoying place I've ever been in so I walked right out. What a shame. Local, turn down the sound system to ambient background levels or just keep it off completely.
An unplanned overnight delay stranded me at LaGuardia and I had to find something inexpensive fast. I got really lucky with this place! It was clean, quiet, had great views from the roof, a comedy night in the lobby and free latte the next morning. Cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants and pubs. For an unplanned stop, it was a fun time. The service folks at the desk were helpful and got me everything I needed -- including an umbrella to borrow for the morning of exploring. I'll be back!!
