Atmosphere was amazing!

We visited during Restaurant Week and were seated in the lobby. From the beginning, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Despite being one of only two tables in that area, we were largely ignored for the majority of our visit. It took over 90 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, one of the dishes came with bacon—an ingredient that was not listed on the menu. We came here at 5pm for happy hour oysters and the entire bar and restaurant was totally empty. Someone from the lobby eventually came and told us to have a seat, but the bartender/anyone from the restaurant never came over or acknowledged us in any way. We eventually just left. Bummer.
We loved this restaurant when it was owned by The quirk and called the Pink Grouse. However, now that is that the hotel is owned by the Doyle they've moved the restaurant to the lobby which is very noisy and disruptive when you're eating. Also the menu is much more limited although the food was still tasty. I wish they would move the restaurant back to its former location.
