Ruth Ann is the AMAZING! Genuinely. It was the best process imaginable. She's great with communication (which is rarely the case with any construction process). She was our advocate throughout. I'd like to think I have good design taste... Ruth Ann made me realize I'm a rookie! Days into the project, we started telling her "whatever you think!" "You pick!" :) Our kitchen turned out better than we could have ever dreamed. Endlessly grateful we got to work with her.

We used The Living Door along with our realtor (Casey Hatch) to find a home to purchase and that could be remodeled. As a part of purchase process, Ruth Ann created the vision for the remodel prior to the purchase of a 20 year old house in an established neighborhood. After the purchase, she lead the effort on designing the plan, hiring a great general contractor (REM), providing options for interior finishes and managing the entire process. We worked with Ruth Ann in the remodel of our home. When we started it seemed like an overwhelming project, but Ruth Ann was amazing at giving us a vision for the remodel, providing us plenty of options that were in our budget( & didn’t overwhelm us.) We honestly couldn’t have done this project without her. She was great at giving ideas, but also being able to incorporate our personal style into the design.
