Knocked out, LITERALLY!! – So this was my first time at Little Temple, my friend recommeded. My friend from San Diego came to L.A. to visit me, I wanted to show her a good time and hopefully get lucky. So, I decided to take her to Little Temple. At first it was cool, the djs were spinning all the old school jamz. It took me back way back. . . . by the end of the night me and my girlfriend were breaking it down in the dance floor when a fight breaks out and I got punched in the eye and pushed against the wall, with all the ru... read more

Parking lot fills up by 10pm. safe parking is an issue here. – Parking lot fills up by 10. No Valet parking week nights. Street parking not recommended. Area is just not safe. Go with a group. Heard the place is better on weekends. Had higher hopes for a weeknight.

So much potential – I had high hopes for this place. We went on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. First of all, they have $10 margaritas. The DJ is TERRIBLE! He kept playing old school hip hop. Ya'll, he played TLC from 1992 and NWA. Great music, but you can't dance to it. After I heard that, it was time to go. It's cool to have an old school set and then move on to new school. No such luck. He even played "Brick House." There was a big crowd there, he could've got the party started with something else. Plus, it's in... read more

Tons of fun – There was a live reggae band performing when I went, and they were great. After their final set, the DJ mixed a bunch of sounds and the bartender poured me a pretty heavy drink. Even with the lounges and tables, there was more than enough room to dance, and I really enjoyed myself.

Rockulant – Candles and incense give this place a unique vibe, and the Djs are always spinning a eclectic mix of sounds. The small seperate room were you and your friends can chill on a big bed-type structure is good for conversation and relaxing. Sometimes this club can be dead though, they should probably get their promotion in gear.

Silver Lake's former grungy Garage space turns soulful DJ lounge. – The Scene The owners of Santa Monica's Temple Bar have branched out to the east, giving Silver Lake's dank ex-Garage space a stunning makeover. The look suggests Buddhist temple tranquility by way of Chinese lanterns, bamboo-lined walls, rock gardens and countless votive candles. Comfortable booths in the foyer give way to a simple raised DJ stage in the main room. The adjacent Moroccan-inspired area is highlighted by a communal bed and a wall-sized photomur... read more
