This little family-owned restaurant was absolutely delicious! Not only was the food incredible, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. Don’t let the off-the-beaten-path location near the railroad tracks or the small building fool you. While the location may seem a little random, the food is anything but. Every dish was beautifully plated and made with obvious care. We shared the pastrami Reuben and a bowl of chili, and both were equally amazing. This is definitely a must-try spot in Topeka!

Don't be scared off by the fact that the location is in a neighborhood, if you're an out-of-towner like us. Food was totally amazing! I LOVE finding a local spot, and this is for sure one of those. Had a little of everything. Horseradish pickles (my husband liked then so much forgot he was being given a sample and just grabbed the whole container like he was home 🤣), Pastrami reuben (different in a good way. Had a chili dog and huevos rancheros. Both were delicious. The huevos rancheros with green sauce was spicy but good. They have more options than what is listed on the board. The staff are very nice and welcoming. We are definitely coming back! If you want good home cooking in a quite laid back atmosphere come here! Ohhh, and there's a bar too!
