Great food as always, my gumbo was outstanding and a generous cup full
The BBQ was solid. Not the best I've had but certainly quality meat and good serving size. I prefer a little more smoke in my BBQ. Service and price were both good. I'd recommend the turnip greens as a side item - yum. Also, they had a special on gumbo the night we were there which was awesome.
Always good. Can’t go wrong with this place if you’re in Starkville looking for BBQ.
First visit. Will definitely be back. Good sized portions. Brisket sandwich was great. Ask for less sauce if you don't like a messy sandwich. We will get it plain next time since the meat was fabulous all on its own. Pulled pork was tasty too. Hot sauce was just right. Had a nice tang to it. Coleslaw was excellent but everyone has their own favorite style- I could have eaten a bowl. Huge menu and it all looks great. Coming back for the catfish, shrimp and oysters next time. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Quick service.
