Went to the little clinic with symptoms of sore throat, drainage, and congestion. NP assessed me and stated she did not want to test me for strep because my throat didn't look very red. She asked if I have ever had a sinus infection. I stated "yes," and she asked "well what do you think?" I was taken back by the question and stated it seems similar but my throat is more sore than a typical sinus infection. She stated that's probably what it was and prescribed me amoxicillin.
