Told me today a unit would be available to move in on 10 March. I gave them a security deposit and application fee. They send me a lease agreement without proration, I tell them if they aren't going to prorate I am no longer interested and would like my deposit back. They refuse to return a security deposit on an apartment I haven't even signed a lease for.
I have lived here going on 3 years. Do not rent here. Just don't. The community director is holier than thou and doesn't care about her residents. AT ALL. I've never met a more snarky woman. She told me before I moved in 'something' (personal) would be approved, but I never got in in writing. 3 years later I'm being kicked out of my residence because "she never said that". Old and outdated units and appliances. They have not done any updates. They will tell you to move into a newer unit. But you will have to wait for one to become available. Why not at least make them presentable and have them cleaned before you move someone in. They trick you and have you sign a lease first before even seeing the unit you are moving in. Management sucks. Lived here for 2 years. We decided to try and get a bigger apartment, had to pay ANOTHER application fee that costed us $400. A week came to move into the new apartment, and we called to check in and they stated that we do not have an assigned apartment. They said we would be getting kicked out if they could not figure out the issue. Moral of the story management is terrible and the office ladies are no help.
DO NOT live in these apartments if you are a non-smoker. Residents can smoke inside the apartments making it impossible to breathe for others in the building including children and the elderly. The grounds were a mess. The apartments are old and need updates. Management was unprofessional and uncaring. Rent is a little cheaper but not worth the savings.
Bait and switch. Don’t have apartments when advertising they do take your application fee with no units available. So you are in a catch 22. Do you chance no living space or losing $250.00? Be careful!
Very much so unfortunate for myself, I’m writing this bad review as a incoming tenant. Hurray to me, not really. I expressed interest in a unit Mid June, with a move in date of July 1st. Completed an application, and was improved in a few days. Granted permission for the deposit to be deducted from my account in order to secure a unit.
