First time trying a Penn Yan landmark. Went for a fish fry and while we waited for a table we met a lovely group of folks that go there often. They said the fish fry was the best and after our food arrived I can now state they were absolutely correct! Service was excellent, the beer was cold, and the fish was done perfectly as well as the fries - nice and crunchy, not mushy. Will definitely be going back, but might try the wings next.

Casual dining and pub fare. The burgers were delicious! Great roll, fresh tomato slices. The fries were awesome! Service was quick, staff was super friendly and attentive.

First, Susan, our server was so kind and helpful. Next, the place is obviously a great local place with regular customers and a 50’s vibe that even carried over into the music. The menu is not vast or complicated but there are plenty of choices including salads, pasta, seafood, chicken, and steak. I usually stay away from chicken sandwiches because they are typically dry but my daughter’s was perfectly cooked and very juicy.
