I enjoy going to The Liberty every chance I get. The great selections on the menu give great options. Service,depending on when you go, may require a bit of patience. But be patient you will be served as a person, not a number. There is a single pool table at the front door that is in immaculate condition. The table speed plays like a 4.5' x 9',fast but true.

This has been one of our most pleasant surprises of the Finger Lakes region. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and attentive. This is a family style restaurant serving generous portions of delicious food at very reasonable prices. Don’t let the exterior fool you this is a place you won’t want to miss. A truly hidden gem.

First time trying a Penn Yan landmark. Went for a fish fry and while we waited for a table we met a lovely group of folks that go there often. They said the fish fry was the best and after our food arrived I can now state they were absolutely correct! Service was excellent, the beer was cold, and the fish was done perfectly as well as the fries - nice and crunchy, not mushy. Will definitely be going back, but might try the wings next.
