Great food, service and cool building!
Attending the SCASL conference at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, I looked up "French" on GMaps, searching for a quick non-chain takeout lunch. Levantine Bakery popped up nearby, located at the Farmers Market XChange, tucked behind CityArt. So glad to have found this great small business! It is in an old industrial building, great open space, and has several counters under one roof--a bagel bakery, bread, a sandwich and hot food counter, a butcher, and various farm-fresh veggies and prepared food fridges. The sourdough was perfection. I can’t wait to try the bagels next time.
Truly something special! We went for breakfast and had incredible bagel sandwiches. One of the traditional breakfast items and one lunch sandwich on a bagel. The bagels were freshly made and the ingredients were combined in expert ways. The team was very friendly and happy to answer questions, with amazing service. Everything was so great that I also bought a loaf of their specialty sourdough bread on the way out - also freshly made! 10/10 would definitely recommend!
