I called several Law firms to see about getting a new qildro filed in court to replace existing order due to a divorce and remarriage. On my initial call I could tell Anne Schmidt really new this area of the law and what to do. Her pricing was fair and they were able to get everything done in court correctly and in a timely manner. I’m incredibly fortunate to have received exceptional service from Anne and her team. As you know QDRO, QILDRO, Letter of Instruction, and all other DROs must adhere to stringent regulations and intricate processes. The asset transfer process can take up to 18 months, starting with the receipt of the final court-certified order. Dealing with Anne Schmidt for our QDRO was a terrible experience. It took over 6 months to get our QDRO finalized, mostly due to her unresponsiveness. She never returned a phone call until there was a problem, in which cases she was rude, defensive and twisted everything around to shift the blame on us for her miscommunications or mistakes.
