As you know QDRO, QILDRO, Letter of Instruction, and all other DROs must adhere to stringent regulations and intricate processes. The asset transfer process can take up to 18 months, starting with the receipt of the final court-certified order. Dealing with Anne Schmidt for our QDRO was a terrible experience. It took over 6 months to get our QDRO finalized, mostly due to her unresponsiveness. She never returned a phone call until there was a problem, in which cases she was rude, defensive and twisted everything around to shift the blame on us for her miscommunications or mistakes.
