Edward Smith has been working on our adoption papers for over 3 years. We paid the retainer and all the other expenses and added fees. We're still waiting for an adoption date in court. NOTHING! He doesn't return calls and rarely answers his emails. I want my money back. I hope to find a lawyer that can get my money back. He should lose his license.
Worst service ever. I hired and paid him in full on August first, by October 10, nothing was done in my case, no matter how much I pushed... now, he is withholding my money and stopped answering me. Absolutely worst experience ever. If you really need legal help, he is not the way... hell leave you hanging and keep your money.
I've had an absolutely terrible experience. He took a 5.5k retainer, my case was moved to Canadian Courts, and now he's failing to respond, not returning the retainer, and appears to be attempting to steal my money.These actions have been preventing me from acquiring the appropriate legal representation.I strongly advise staying away from this law firm.
This lawyer is a fraud!!! I hired him to help me with my divorce. A couple days after hiring him and paid for the $2500 retainer fee, he went out of the country where he had limited Wi-Fi and had his "secretaries" text me asking what I needed when I tried to reach the office. I asked to have Edward contact me and they said he will return in 2 weeks. At that moment knew I was being scammed. Bad lawyer doesn’t communicate with his clients. He is greedy he needs to be disbarred. He doesn’t deserve 1*
Edward Smith is my husbands attorney. He is a criminal! He has been knowingly protecting (known) and I believe he is also involved in my husbands crime against me. (Unproven) He is protecting him and refuses to recuse as his attorney. This violating the ************ bar ethics rule 21. So if you are looking for a good reputable attorney RUN dont walk as to save yourself the trouble that comes with the light.
One star is too many for this criminal. We paid in full $3,050 for immigration representation and received a guarantee that he would be there all the way trough all proceedings to the last court date. He had us come in and pay an extra $550 for some paperwork to be sent in and he said we were done as he stated it was just adjustment of status. 18 months later he says we were denied and that's it? I hired Edward Smith in 2007 to complete my divorce. He told me it was complete and I paid him to then complete a visa. He screwed up the visa so badly it was denied and I had to hire someone else to fix it. Later I found out that the divorce he said was complete was disposed and he never told me, so now I hired another lawyer to complete that. So far I am 10,000.00 in and still no divorce. Do not hire Edward Smith he is a terrible attorney.
Mr. Smith and his staff made me feel very comfortable. He has a wide range of knowledge regarding all things family law.
