We wrote this for Teacher Appreciation Day. Our children have just graduated and we will greatly miss LHS! Dear Teachers and Staff of Laurel Hill, There are no words sufficient to express the gratitude and appreciation for all that each of you do to make The Laurel Hill School the special place and home it is for the education of the children who are so fortunate to attend. We’d like to be able to directly/individually thank everyone for their obvious love, hard work and dedication. It is hard to know who does what, but the well thought out pedagogy, lesson plans and homework that follows both psychology and scholastic research seems like a true team effort. Mr. and Mrs. Stark, Ms. McClafferty and all of the other staff we’ve interacted with really love children as we can see both in their actions and in their smiles. We are blessed to have our daughter supported by a loving community at this c... read more

Just heard what you did to a family that had to withdraw due to medical reasons. Shame on you. Medical reasons should be honored. You are all over the web. Bad decision. You should rethink your bad business decision.

The newest programs at LHS are so wonderful. The Outdoor Classroom is an amazing addition allowing the children hands-on exploration. The Mindfulness curriculum has shifted the entire school toward a deeper and focused engagement. The new STEM and Architecture programs are exciting and challenging. All of these programs go beyond the curriculum page encouraging and reinforcing not only critical thinking, but most importantly, a love of learning.
